The N270 is a low-powered single-core (with hyperthreading) processor from 2008 that was considered remarkably slow even back then. I think you are overestimating the power of this tablet. Even 2D Indie titles like Dust will not work, given that the minimum CPU and GPU requirements demand just so much more power than the little Atom can provide. The slowest of the two tablets is already almost an order of magnitude faster than /u/MySummerCarSATSUMA's device, both in the CPU and GPU department, and is aided by having twice as much and faster RAM. Have you ever played Oblivion with dense fog everywhere? I've got two tablets, each with much newer Atom APUs and they can not run the vast majority of these games, apart from Fallout 3 and Oblivion, both of which barely chug along at the lowest settings with heavy tweaks (and they will never ever run on this netbook). Far Cry 3 for example had high hardware requirements when it came out - and this device can not even handle Far Cry 1.

Pretty much none of these will run on this netbook, with the exception of the first Deus Ex and maybe the second one (at lowest settings). These should get you about a month of entertainment. There's also (in no order): Fallout 3/ Fallout: New Vegas, Dungeon Siege (Two or Three), Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition (One/Two), Dragon Age (One/Two/Three), The Witcher (One/Two), Dust: An Elysian Tail (personal fave), Dark Souls (One/Two) Although most of these are after the 2012 limit.Īnd lastly RPGs: Deus Ex: Human Revolution (as well as it's predecessors) kind of counts, and you're suggesting Morrowind, but I'd choose ES IV: Oblivion over it. If you have music on your laptop, perhaps Audiosurf, though I wouldn't rely on it being your main game.Īs for FPS you should definitely try running (in order of recommendation): FarCry 3, Borderlands 2, Deus Ex: Human Revolution, Crysis 2, Singularity, Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, Resistance 3.

Most of your hardware was discontinued over a decade ago, so I'm surprised your PC still runs.įirst one that comes to mind is the OG Burnout Paradise (if you can find it) released in 2008. Looked up your specs and you should be looking for games release before 2012.
